10/28/2016 "Hand in Hand the Kingsford High School SADD Club fights substance abuse." During both lunch periods, the students of Kingsford High School were asked to trace their hands on a sheet of paper to represent their pledge against drugs and alcohol. There was ample participation from the school and as the sheet filled up the hands began to overlap. (Pictured on the left is Vice President Nicci Hofer and on the right President Alissa Kainrath)
10/25/2016 During second hour SADD Students tied a red ribbon to every vehicle in the school's parking lot and in various places around the school to spread awareness about drug abuse. The red ribbon campaign was inspired by Enrique Camarena, who was a Drug Enforcement Administration Agent that was tortured and killed in Mexico in 1985.
10/16-22/2016 The SADD Club is sponsoring a Seat belt Safety Awareness contest. Any student who posts a selfie on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook before 10/22/16 will be eligible to win a movie pass. The student must use the hashtags #khssadd and #seatbeltsafe
